Interests and activities 
I have completed 15 full ironman triathlons and have travelled to more than 30 countries

  • Background

    I grew up in a small town in Newfoundland and went to Ascension Collegiate in Bay Roberts. After that, I went to UNB Fredericton to study Electrical Engineering. It was an obvious choice for me as I disliked English (language) courses during high school but enjoyed math and science. 

     

    Career

    I spent 20 years in Alberta working with various employers such as Suncor, Devon Energy, TC Energy and Gibson's Energy −  working mainly in Project Engineering or Project Management roles. 

    I joined Irving Oil in July 2023 and now I'm the Group Lead for Project Engineering. What I like most about my job is working on challenging and complex problems and working with others to find the fit-for-purpose solution that meets the company objectives.
